- The Noida Police arrested a naxal commander reportedly identified as Sudhir Bhagat on Monday, 26 March. Bhagat was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, reported ANI.
- A native of Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Bhagat was wanted in at least four murder cases and six massacres in the state, reported India TV.
- He has reportedly been taken to Noida Sector 20 Police Station for interrogation.
