One person died while three others were injured after a portion of an under-construction building collapsed in Dharavi’s PMGP colony on Sunday, 14 April, reported ANI.
Narrating the whole incident, a resident of the colony said that the incident happened around 10:30 pm.
“A pipe fell from the under-construction building and an auto driver died on the spot,” he added. He also said that other people sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
However, speaking to the news agency, Shiv Sena MP, Rahul Shewale alleged that the mishap happened due to the negligence of the contractor and said strict action should be taken.
