A five-storey residential building collapsed in Mumbai’s Bhendi Bazaar area on 31 August, killing 34 people and injuring at least 47 others. Rescue operations have concluded on Friday.
The incident occurred two days after the city received torrential rains, which is suspected to have damaged the building.

Rescue Operations Conclude
Mumbai Fire Brigade official on Friday announced that the rescue operations have been concluded and that no other person is trapped under the rubble.
