Nation Mourns IAF Marshal Arjan Singh, Funeral Held at Brar Square

Marshal Arjan Singh passed away on 16 September following a cardiac arrest.

On Monday, Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh was laid to rest with full state honours. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, chiefs of the air force, army and navy, and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were among the leaders who paid homage to the decorated officer.

Flags are flying at half mast in Delhi to mourn the Air Chief’s death.

Arvind Singh, the son of Marshal of Indian Air Force Arjan Singh, said that his father was a great man but never acted like one.
