Maharashtra CM-candidate Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday, 27 November invited PM Modi for his oath-taking ceremony over a phone call, their first conversation after the Sena broke alliance with the BJP and parted ways with the NDA.
Earlier, NCP leaders Praful Patel announced that the Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly will be from Congress and the Deputy CM of the state will be from NCP.
Maharashtra Congress Chief Balasaheb Thorat, on Wednesday, said that the sharing of portfolios within the alliance partners will be decided over the next couple of days.
Uddhav Thackeray will be sworn in as the CM on Thursday.

Aaditya Meets Manmohan Singh
Aaditya Thackeray also paid a visit to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's residence to invite him for the swearing-in ceremony of Uddhav Thackeray.
“We met Sonia Gandhi ji and Dr Manmohan Singh ji as their guidance and blessings are necessary. Now we are returning to Mumbai,” Aadtya said, speaking to the media.

“We came here to seek her blessings. We will also invite Dr Manmohan Singh,” he said.
