- More than 20 students detained and several manhandled by cops.
- Chauhan said he would like to talk to students and address their grievances but students do not give in.
Hours later, FTII Chairman Gajendra Chauhan says, “Protesting is their democratic right and the police will look into how to deal with the protest. It was my desire to talk with the students. I want to listen to their grievances. The staffs received me with a positive attitude.”
