1. Hyderabad Man Butchered to Death in Old City as Scores Watch On
A man is collapsed face down on the side of a busy road, as another bends over. As bystanders shout “Aye” in protest, the man continues to hack at the injured man with a butcher knife. Brandishing his weapon, he then threateningly wards off three men including a policeman who attempt to intervene. The killer then kicks the lifeless body on the ground before continuing to butcher him.
This shocking incident of an auto driver killing a man was caught on camera as scores of bystanders watched on in the busy street of Hyderabad’s old city on Wednesday, 28 November.

2. Rahul Gandhi Calls KCR 'Khao Commission Rao', Lashes Out at TRS Chief in Telangana
Calling Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ‘Khao Commission Rao’, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, 29 November, lambasted him for enriching his family at the cost of Telangana, and promised all-round development if the Congress-led Peoples Front won the Assembly elections.
Addressing successive rallies, Gandhi simultaneously targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and KCR for crony capitalism and denying rights and protection to tribals and farmers.
He asserted the Congress-led coalition will first dethrone the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the state and then the Modi regime in Delhi.

3. Question Naidu on Unkept Promises: Jagan Reddy
YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday, 28 November, alleged that the TDP government had completely ignored the development of all the 13 districts in the State and the capital region, Amaravati.
He urged the people to question Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for “forgetting his tall promises such as construction of regional airports, food parks, processing units, industrial zones, and educational institutions.”
Jagan Mohan Reddy was speaking at a public meeting at Palakonda, the first in the district, during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

4. In Andhra Pradesh, Electric Cars Set to Replace Diesel, Petrol Vehicles
The oil guzzling cars and jeeps in the government offices will soon make way for electric cars as the State aims at promoting non-polluting vehicles.
The government, which has brought in the Electric Mobility Policy 2018-2023 to encourage use of carbon-free cars, has followed it up by signing with the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). The EESL in principle has agreed to invest a whopping Rs 10,250 crore in the State to procure 1,00,000 cars.
“We are planning to replace the petrol/diesel cars being used on hire basis with electric cars. I have asked the two automobile companies – the Mahindra and the Tata and Sons – to provide 100 cars before the end of December. The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of AP will be the nodal agency for the project,’’ said Collector Kona Sasidhar said.

5. Maoists Trigger Landmine Targeting Police Along Andhra-Odisha Border Region in Vizag
Maoists triggered a landmine targeting police combing party in an interior village of G Madugula Mandal of Visakhapatnam under the Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) region.
Though there were no casualties in the blast, a tribal man passing near the explosion place suffered minor injuries. Soon after the blast, police and Maoists were engaged in an exchange of fire.
According to information reaching here, Maoists planted the landmine targeting the under construction police outpost at interior Nurmathi village, some 40 km from G Madugula mandal headquarters.
