On Thursday, the LeT Commander Abu Ismail was gunned down by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowgam. This comes as a big win for India as Ismail was the mastermind behind the Amarnath attack in July, which killed eight people.

Hansraj Ahir, the Minister of State (Home) said that no terrorist will be spared, after security forces gunned down Abu Ismail.

Two AK47s Recovered
Muneer Khan, in a press briefing said that the encounter was very brief in which the two terrorists were killed. The encounter was possible due to the joint collaboration with CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Rashtriya Rifles.
In a very brief encounter both the terrorists were killed. Two AK47s have been recovered...The operation is a result of people’s prayers.
Khan also said:
Militant leadership has to be eliminated because they also misguide our children and lure them into this.

Muneer Khan, the IGP Kashmir congratulated the security forces in their successful gunning down of LeT commander Abu Ismail.

Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, the Director General of Central Reserve Police Forces said that Abu Ismail’s killing is a huge achievement.
