Khan Academy is all set to enter India by launching educational videos in Hindi and other Indian languages. The non-profit organization will make short and interactive lectures and share it with learners via YouTube.

The academy, founded by Salman Khan – an American teacher, entrepreneur, and a former hedge fund analyst – tied up with the Central Square Foundation (CSF) to move ahead with this venture.

Khan also met Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani on Friday.

The educational platform which has always maintained its lucid explanation was started in 2006.

CSF, founded by Ashish Dhawan, basically caters to the low income communities in India. NCERT syllabus and guidelines will be followed this time too, as was with the English videos.
