Jet Airways flight 9W-536 has made an emergency landing in Muscat following a bomb threat.
The 54 passengers and 7 crew members on board were safely evacuated after the plane was diverted to Muscat International Airport. The diversion was facilitated after the plane’s pilot informed Air Traffic Controllers about an on board bomb threat.
The Times of Oman reported that the plane landed safely at around 1.08 pm.
It [the plane] was taken to an isolated bay and all the passengers were evacuated. The flight is right now grounded at Muscat International Airport and we are waiting for clearances from the concerned authorities to fly again.

No explosives have been found on board the flight, yet.
Indian intelligence was informed about the threat, CNN IBN reported.
Following the bomb scare, Muscat Airport was closed down for 5 to 10 minutes.
A senior official of the Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC), told Times of Oman that after officials carried out an inspection of the aircraft and nothing suspicious was found on board, they gave a go ahead to re-open the airport.

The flight took off from Mumbai at 12.24 pm, and its scheduled landing in Dubai was at 1.58 pm.
Jet Airways flight 9W 536, which departed from Mumbai at 12:46 hrs for Dubai, was diverted to Muscat due to a bomb threat. The aircraft with 54 guests and 7 crew on board landed safely in Muscat at 13:20 hrs local time (14:50 hrs India). All guests and crew disembarked without any incident and were taken to the airport terminal. The Omani security agencies are carrying out a search of the aircraft, baggage and cargo at present. Guests are being looked after and have been provided refreshments.
