Security forces on Tuesday, 19 June, killed three Jaish-e-Mohammed militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tral, after launching a cordon-and-search-operation following specific intelligence inputs.
According to local reports, four army men and a CRPF officer were also injured in the gunfight.
According to Firstpost, while two of the three militants were identified, the third one is not an Indian national. The two militants were indetified as Adil Ahmad of Midoora area, and Danish Ahmad from Pinglish area in Tral.
The forces reported detonated the house in which the militants were hiding explosives with explosives, before approaching.
Meanwhile, local youth in the village clashed with the security forces in a bid to stop the operation from taking place.
