Jeffrey Archer, who is inarguably one of the most celebrated British authors in India, attended the Jaipur Literature Festival for the first time this year.

Archer, who fielded questions on the Indian cricket team for a change, said Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli are really good cricketers and congratulated the team for defeating the Australians.

“My personal hero remains Rahul Dravid. I just think his style is wonderful. It was a privilege to watch him. Of course, there is Sachin Tendulkar as well.”

Reminiscing his old days, Archer said the former Indian Cricket team Captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was a good friend.

“The love for Indian cricket has been going on for many, many years and will continue...until you are at Lords!”
