National Conference Member Shot at By Militants in J&K’s Anantnag

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference worker Mohammad Ismail has been shifted to a Srinagar hospital.

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference member Mohammad Ismail Wani was shot at by terrorists in Bijbehara of Anantnag district on Thursday, 14 March.

Confirming the incident, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wrote on Twitter:

My @JKNC_ colleague Mohd Ismail Wani, block President Bijbehara block in South Kashmir of has been shot & injured. He has been referred to Srinagar. Praying for his recovery.

Ismail, 60, was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar.
