IRCTC Aastha Tirth Yathra Tour: Boarding & De-boarding Points
Boarding points- The passengers can board the train from multiple stations including Madurai, Trivandrum, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Wadakancheri, Palakkad, Podanur, Erode Jn., Salem Jn. and Chennai Central.
De-boarding points- The passengers can also end their journey at multiple stations namely, Vijayawada Jn., Perambur, Katpadi Jn., Jolarpettai, Salem Jn., Erode Jn., Podanur Jn., Palakkad, Wadakancheri, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Kollam, Trivandrum and Madurai.
IRCTC Aastha Tirth Yathra Tour: Itinerary
After boarding the train on 16 July from different stations, the next day will be spent in the train and the passengers will reach Delhi Safdarjung on 18 July. They will get to visit Qutub-Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate & War Memorial on the next day. On 20 July 2019, the tourists will depart from Delhi Safdarjung in the afternoon and arrive in Mathura. They will get to visit the birth place of Lord Krishna and leave for Allahabad on the same day.
The tourists get to take a bath in the Holy Triveni Sangam in Allahabad. They board the train and reach Varanasi late in the night. On 22 July the tourists take bath in the Holy Ganges and perform rituals. They visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple and go for darshan of Annapoorni and Kasi Visalaksi. They stay the night in Varanasi and leave for Gaya the next day.
The tourists reach Gaya on 23 July 2019 and after the Pinda Pradanam they borad the train. 24 July 2019 is spent in the train travelling back. The passengers get down on different stations on 25 and 26 July.
IRCTC Aastha Tirth Yathra Tour: What Does The Package Cover?
This tour by the IRCTC includes train journey by SL class. The tourists will be staying or freshening up at dharmashalas, hal or dormitories which will be shared by multiple people.
The package also includes morning tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. One litre drinking water will also be provided everyday. There will be non AC road transfers provided to the tourists on seat-in-coach basis and there will be tour escort & security on train provided by IRCTC.
