Jair Bolsonaro, the president of Brazil, announced on Thrusday, 24 October, that visiting Indian and Chinese tourists or business people will not a require a visa to visit the country anymore, reported news agency Reuters.

The far-right politician, who came into power the beginning of this year, has tried to reduce the visa requirements from a number of developed countries. But, on an official visit to China, when the president made this announcement, it was the first time he expanded the policy to developing nation, like India as well.

While Brazil has dropped its visa requirements for the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia, these nations have done nothing of similar sorts.

Other than Brazil; Maldives, Jamaica, Indonesia, Mauritius & Barbados are a few countries for which Indians do not require a visa to visit.
