Users operating with Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 system might be unable to access the Indian Railway Catering and Toursim Corporation (IRCTC) e-ticketing website, as it is being migrated to TLS 1.2 to enhance security features.
The update does not support Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, and so, people operating the same will not be able to access the website after migration, Times Now reported.
“To enhance the security features on IRCTC e-ticketing website www.irctc.co.in, it is being migrated to TLS 1.2. TLS 1.2 is not supported in older versions of operating systems like Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. After migration IRCTC e-ticketing website will not be accessible in Windows XP and Windows server 2003. Users may upgrade their operating systems higher than Windows XP/Server 2003.” the IRCTC official release stated.
Automatic Pizza Vending Machine at Railway Station
IRCTC has also recently installed automatic pizza-vending machine at the Mumbai Central railway station, as part of catering modernisation.
Commuters at the station can insert money in the machine and choose their desired pizza toppings.
