A thrilling aerobatics display by Indian Air Force fighter jets and a performance by the Indian Army’s motorcycle-stunt team, among a host of other activities on Sunday (September 20) cast a spell over thousands who attended the carnival ‘Indradhanush’ at Rajpath to commemorate the golden jubilee of the 1965 India-Pakistan War.
The biggest attraction were the fighter jets which first flew in a missing man formation, and then performed the gravity-defying vertical climb, considered to be one of the toughest to pull off.
From martial arts display to jazz band concert, and from hot air balloon rides to choreographed dance shows, the armed forces had everything in place to enchant those who attended the carnival.
