A headmaster of an upper primary government school in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, Raghuveer Singh was suspended on Saturday,1 June, for sharing a derogatory post against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on WhatsApp.
An internal committee found him guilty of sharing the defamatory post against PM Modi on a WhatsApp group consisting of other schools' teachers and officials.

Unhappy with the content of the video shared by the headmaster, several teachers complained to senior officials, thereafter which Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) initiated a probe against Singh.
Singh is headmaster at the upper primary in Shahpur Chamran. Officials said that he had shared the video with a WhatsApp group on 26 May wherein the entire election process was shown as dubious, besides the insulting remarks against PM Modi.
