Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was cremated with full state honours at the Lodhi crematorium in Delhi on Wednesday, 7 August.
Earlier during the day, party leaders paid tributes to her at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi after politicians across party lines paid their last respects to the veteran leader at her residence.
The senior BJP leader passed away on Tuesday, 6 August, at the age of 67. Swaraj was brought to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in a critical condition on Tuesday night, after she suffered a heart attack.
