Elphinstone Stampede: Helpline Opened; Here’s How You Can Help

KEM hospital has urged people to donate A negative, B negative and AB negative blood for treatment of the injured.

Tragedy struck Mumbai's Elphinstone Railway Station on 29 September, when a stampede killed over 22 people and injured at least 25 others.

The injured have been rushed to King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital in Parel, which is around 2.5 kilometres from the site of the incident.

The KEM Hospital has urged people to donate A negative, B negative, and AB negative blood for treatment of those injured in the tragedy.

While relief and rescue operations are underway, helpline numbers have been opened.
