The Enforcement Directorate has moved the Supreme Court against the special court's order on the Aircel-Maxis case that discharged the Maran brothers and the other accused on 2 February.

The ED said that properties of Dayanidhi and Kalanithi Maran, attached in the Aircel-Maxis deal case should not be released.

Special Public Prosecutor, Anand Grover, sought an urgent hearing on his application, seeking to bind the Marans to further proceedings in higher court through an appeal.

The Supreme Court will hear the Aircel-Maxis case at 2 pm on 3 February.
