Dolly Bindra Slammed for Leaking Recording of Pratyusha’s Mother

Leaked sound clip of a phone call between Dolly Bindra and Pratyusha Bannerjee’s mother has angered many netizens.

Pratyusha Banerjee, the 24-year-old actress best known for her role in Balika Vadhu, was found dead on Friday in her apartment. The death was later confirmed as suicide by the police.

Co-actors and fans took to various social media platforms to express their shock and grief over Banerjee’s sudden death. However, Dolly Bindra’s insensitive actions on social media triggered a strong response from the online community.

Bindra, in a Facebook post, said:

Sad and really very hurting to know about Pratusha Banerjee today. She’s no more as I was there at the hospital to see her after I spoke to her mom as her mom is in Jamshedpur coming tomorrow. Mr Deepak Phatangre in charge officer of the case, saw her lying down as if she’s sleeping there’s sindhoor on her forehead pratusha was a strong person I cannot digest the fact that she has taken her life.

However, what has made people angry is a leaked sound-clip of a phone call that Dolly Bindra made to Pratyusha’s mother.

Many viewed this as a deliberate publicity stunt by Bindra.
