Delhi-NCR woke up to a foggy and cloudy morning with intermittent rain and hailstorms being reported from parts of the region on Thursday, 14 February.
About 10-Delhi bound trains were running late on Thursday due to low visibility conditions, and two flights had been diverted from the Delhi airport, reported ANI.
According to the Met department, western disturbance is approaching north India, and moderate rainfall and hailstorms are expected in various parts of the region over the the next 24 to 48 hours.
Meanwhile, people took to Twitter to talk about this ‘romantic’ winter morning on Valentine’s Day.
Gurugram residents also pointed out that there were hailstorms in the city.
Many users expressed their surprise at the fluctuating weather conditions as rain and strong winds hit parts of Delhi this morning, with the Met department also predicting hailstorms at multiple areas on Thursday.
