In a case of rash and underage driving, a teenager from Chennai went on a rampage that injured 10 people. The 17-year-old boy had stolen his uncle's car's keys and was trying to drive the vehicle in the residential area of Vannarpettai in Chennai, reported Times Now.

The entire incident was captured by a CCTV camera, where the video reveals that the college student had minimal control over the vehicle. He subsequently rammed his car into a parked motorcycle.

There were a lot of children in the locality, and a few angry bystanders began to berate and chase the teenager. The minor then panicked and tried to take the vehicle home, but he rammed into other motorbikes and an auto rickshaw injuring the commuters.

Finally, he lost total control and banged the car into a tree resulting in total damage to the car. The mob then pulled the boy out and beat him for the reckless driving display, before ultimately handing him over to the police as per CNN-News18.

The police has initiated a probe, and the investigation so far shows that the minor had no driving license. The incident would invite penalties under the Motor Vehicles Act.
