1. US Citizen Gangraped in CP, Sends Complaint by Email
A US national who was allegedly gangraped by five men in Delhi’s Connaught Place in March filed an FIR over email on Friday, reports Hindustan Times.
Police are trying to verify the email sent to the Commissioner of Delhi Police and record the woman’s statement in the case. She has expressed willingness to travel to Delhi to do so.
One of the five men, who gangraped her in a five-star hotel in the heart of Delhi, was a tourist guide. The men related to a travel agency, the woman claims in the email, entered her room to discuss the route map, police sources told Hindustan Times.

2. BJP MLA Narendra Kushwaha’s Cousin Shot Dead in Madhya Pradesh
A cousin of local BJP MLA Narendra Singh Kushwaha was shot dead, on late Friday night, allegedly by unidentified assailants, a senior police official said.
Lalji Singh Kushwaha (50) was shot dead when he was walking near the government Jiwajirao Scindia College in the town, Superintendent of Police, Bhind, Navneet Bhasin said.
He said the assailants fired shots from a close range which hit Kushawaha on his head and chest following which, he died on the spot.
The attackers fled from the spot after the incident by brandishing their weapons, the SP said, adding a case has been registered and investigations were on.

3. Police to File Chargesheet in Buldhana Rape Case on Saturday
A special investigation team will file a chargesheet in the rape and molestation of three minors at a tribal boarding school in Khamgaon, Buldhana district, on Saturday, said sources. A chargesheet needs to be filed within three months of the case being registered, but in most cases, the deadline is not met.
On 3 November, a 10-year-old girl was found to have been raped at the tribal boarding school. Suspecting more girls might have been targeted, the state government formed an SIT to investigate the case.
A few days later, parents of five other students claimed their girls were raped at the boarding school.
Of them, one girl filed a complaint of rape and another filed a complaint of molestation. A total of 16 people were arrested in the case.

4. UP Cop Kills Wife For Dancing At Wedding
Dancing on DJ song cost a woman her life, who was allegedly shot by her jealous husband, who couldn't stand joyful moments of his spouse.
On Friday, police booked the UP cop who killed his wife because she went on stage to dance on DJ song from Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ – ‘Baby ko Base pasand hai’ – when already a group of men were dancing during wedding engagement ceremony on Wednesday night.
According to sources, the accused used his licenced pistol and took a shot at his wife, who succumbed to her injury.

5. Thane Call Centre Scam: Police Chargesheet 80
The Thane police on Friday chargesheeted 80 people in the call centre scam in which callers from bogus call centres in the Mira Road area and Bhayandar duped US citizens by pretending to be calling from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The Thane police said they will also be charging 630 more who were working at these call centres.
Police had arrested 80 people who were present at the call centres when they were raided on 4 October. They have now decided to chargesheet the other 630 employees as well at a later stage. Over 20 people, including Sagar Thakkar alias Shaggy, the mastermind and his sister Reema, have been named as wanted accused.

6. Four Arrested For Killing 15-Year-Old in Delhi
A 15-year-old boy was allegedly thrashed to death following a dispute over charging Rs 5 more than the printed price of asafoetida (heeng) by a shopkeeper in south east Delhi's Badarpur area, police said on Friday.
Four persons, the shopkeeper Lekhchand, his sons Gaurav, and Vicky and their friend Dipak have been arrested.
The victim, a Class IX student, had gone to buy asafoetida from a local grocery store in Molarband area on 23 November. He had an argument over the price as Lekhchand allegedly charged him Rs 5 extra, said a police officer.
Later, the matter was sorted out by the victim's father but he went missing while going to school on 28 November.

7. Three Held for Activating SIM Cards Using Fake Documents
The Nehru Nagar police has busted a fake subscriber-identification-module (SIM) card racket with the arrest of three people earlier this week, while another accused is still at large. The four accused would use bogus documents for activating SIM cards to complete their sale targets, police said. The accused include employees of two telephone network companies who would get a commission from the shop owners.
According to police, the four accused have been identified as Imran Mohommad Shafiq, 26, owner of a mobile phone shop in Kurla, Mohommad Sameer Shafiq, 29, owner of a shop in Govandi and Bhavesh Patil, 32, territory manager for a telephone network company while the fourth accused, Miraj Ahmad Khan, 28, an employee of another telephone network company, managed to escape.

8. Rape Victim’s Baby Stolen From UP Hospital
Hours after a 16-year-old Dalit rape victim delivered a baby, who was to undergo a DNA sampling test for “scientific evidence” against the rape accused, the newborn was found missing from Mirzapur district hospital on Thursday morning.
The victim, according to her father, had delivered – a male child – around 1 am on Thursday. By 6 am, when her father went to meet her in the hospital ward, the infant was missing, he has told the police.
The family and the hospital staff searched for the newborn but could not find him, police said. SHO of Kotwali police station Sanjay Rai said the victim’s father claimed that family members were sleeping outside the hospital at night when the incident allegedly occurred.

9. Four Robbers Held After Gunfight With Cops
Delhi Police on Friday said it has busted a gang of robbers, arresting four of its members after a brief gunfight, while six others managed to escape.
Sunil, 30, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, Krishan Kumar, 30, Manish, 23, and Goverdhan Vishwakarma, 26, all Delhi residents, were arrested from near Vishwakarma Colony in south Delhi at around 11.40 pm on Thursday after police received a tip-off about a gang of robbers coming to commit dacoity in the MB road area.
