According to ANI, the high court had, on 11 March, issued notices to the five respondents on the state's appeal challenging their acquittal in the case.

A trial court in Jodhpur had sentenced Salman Khan to five years in jail in the case.

Khan was later released from the Jodhpur Central Jail after he was granted bail against Rs 50,000 surety in the black buck poaching case.
