Nupur Talwar, who is charged for murder in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case, has been released parole for three weeks, on Monday, by the Allahabad High Court, to visit her mother who is unwell.
Nupur along with her husband Rajesh have been in jail on the charges of murdering their 14-year-old daughter, Aarushi and their domestic help, Hemraj Banjade on the night of 15 May 2008.
The Talwars who have denied all charges – a claim backed by CBI Joint Director Arun Kumar – are housed at the Dasna jail, the main prison in Western UP, after being sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice Shyam Lal on 5 November 2013, following five years of investigation by the CBI in the case.
