While addressing a rally in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district, BJP President Amit Shah said taking a jibe at the Congress that for the opposition OROP means ‘Only Rahul Only Priyanka’.

Shah said that the soldiers of the country had been neglected for the past 70 years, and that PM Modi took genuine care for the ex-servicemen by implementing OROP.

‘Modiji  gave One Rank One Pension to the Army’s soldiers to martyr’s widows, and they (the Congress) gave ‘only Rahul only Priyanka’ as One Rank One Pension that too only for the Gandhi-Vadra family.’

Amit Shah also demanded explanation from Congress by asking what did the party do when it ruled the country for 55 years. He also alleged that the Congress President is in-fact complicit with the anti national sloganeering emerging from JNU.

Listen to the speech of Congress President, he will definitely talk about poverty I would  like to ask you Rahul baba, and you answer me I want to ask through this stage that you ruled for four generations. You ruled for 55 years. Today also if we have to work to eradicate property then what did your four generations do? Please tell our countrymen this.

In his address to BJP workers ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Shah said, ‘Desh ek mazboot sarkar chaahta hai, majboor sarkar nahi’ (The country wants a strong government not a weak and hapless one).

The BJP President was addressing a "BJP Panna Pramuk Sammelan" at Hamirpur, also known as "Martyrs' Land" in Himachal Pradesh owing to a significant number of people from the district and adjoining areas joining the Army.
