In 2015, Kerala saw many protests by left wing and Congress supporters against rising fascism at the behest of right wingers.

Now in a twist, a group of right-wing ideologists organised an event called the Vishwa Manava Sangamam on Thursday in Kozhikode against fascism and anarchism.

Their contention was that “real fascism is followed by left ideology groups, not the right-wing groups”.
