Veteran Tamil actor M Nasser and young hero Vishal were, on Sunday night, elected as President and General Secretary respectively of the South Indian Artistes’ Association aka Nadigar Sangam, reports Manorama.
The result followed an action-packed day for the Kollywood stars in Chennai.
The polls were conducted following a court order secured by Vishal’s team. Polling and the subsequent counting were overseen by a retired Judge of the Madras High Court.
The position of the head of Nadigar Sangam holds a prized place in the circle of artists in South India.
