A three-year-old girl’s thumb was allegedly slashed and cut at “Cherub Angel”daycare centre in Gurgaon on 28 April, her mother has said in a post on Facebook.
According to the post, which has been shared over 10,000 times, Shivani P Sharma, the mother of the three-year-old has filed an FIR against owner of the daycare centre in Gurgaon.
It was half an hour after Sharma dropped off her daughter at the daycare, that she received a call from a school teacher at the centre telling her about an “emergency” situation. She was told that her daughter “hit her right thumb” and has been admitted in the hospital.

Sharma further writes that her daughter underwent a hand surgery at around 6 pm that day.
The post mentions that the daycare owners paid her a visit on May 1 to offer money for the child’s surgery, but she has not heard from that since. She has also alleged that the owner has been making excuses when she asked her to pay for Myra’s second surgery.

After her Facebook post, the daycare owner has removed her Facebook profile and the Facebook page of her daycare.
