Investigating officer of the Mumbai Police, Dinesh Kadam, has shed more light on the Sheena Bora murder case, laying some speculation to rest, according to CNN–IBN.
Shyam Rai, the driver and one of the suspects in the case, has confessed to having kidnapped Sheena Bora and burning her body with Indrani Mukerjea and Sanjeev Khanna, her ex-husband.
Rai, who was detained on August 21, had tried to flee when a police patrol car approached him.
A countrymade pistol with three live cartridges were found in his possession.
Rai had no licence for the weapons. He was arrested under the Arms Act.
