Ritesh Amrish Modi, a 32-year-old man succumbed to their injuries who was in the private helicopter that crashed in Mumbai’s Aarey Colony on Sunday.
The pilot of the chopper, Praful Kumar Mishra, died on the spot while two others were injured at Goregaon’s Filter Pada area.
Besides the 32-year-old Mumbai resident Modi, his wife Vrinda and technician Sanjeev Shankar were injured in the accident on Sunday afternoon.
The helicopter, a Robinson R44 belonging to Aman Aviation Pvt Ltd, was on a sight-seeing flight over Mumbai, when it suddenly crashed inside the forested Aarey Milk Colony and caught fire around 12.15 pm, said the BMC Disaster Control.
People and police personnel extricated the victims from the burning chopper and rushed them to the Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri East.
