The Government of Pakistan has banned any coverage of Hafiz Saeed’s organisation Jammat-ud-Dawah (JuD), according to a report by Ary News.
Along with JuD, two other organisations’ coverage – Falah-e-Insaniyat and Lashkar-e-Taiba – has also being banned.
Hafiz Saeed is an accused in the Mumbai terror attacks in 2006. He was recently granted bail.
The move has come after the United Nations named the three organisations in the list of terrorist organisations, according to a report by NewsOne.
Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has notified the Pakistani media about the move.
