Wreckage of the Pawan Hans helicopter, which crashed in Mumbai, was located and the body of one of the two missing pilots was found on Monday evening, through a search operation.
The search operation was done by the Indian Coast Guard and the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) in Mumbai.
The helicopter went missing, with the two pilots, on November 4, Wednesday at around 7:30 pm near the Bombay High.
The helicopter was on a night landing practice on an oil rig, according to Defence Ministry Spokesperson, Sitanshu Kar. A door of the helicopter was located in the sea on Wednesday itself.
The recovery of the helicopter parts is underway.
