Bhubaneswar, July 27 (IANS) Legislators in the Odisha assembly on Saturday gave a standing ovation to the scientists involved in the successful launch of India's indigenous moon mission Chandrayaan-2.
Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro asked all the MLAs to give a one-minute standing ovation to the scientists for the historic achievement.
Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Amar Prasad Satapathy proposed to the Speaker to give a standing ovation to the scientists for the achievement which was supported by Congress MLA Narasingh Mishra.
India's second moon mission Chandrayaan-2 was launched on July 22.
