Speaking to The Quint, following the ex-French President Hollande’s revelation that the Modi Government had in fact chosen Reliance for the Rafale deal, senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan said:
It shows that the Indian Government brought in Ambani, and it also shows that these people (the Government) have been lying.
Bhushan also opined that the Modi government brought Reliance in, started Make in India and increased the price of the plane “basically to accommodate and give commissions to Ambani.”
