Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to stand up and ask his supporters to quiet down at an event in Patna on Saturday after they shouted ‘Modi Modi’ during Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s speech.

BJP was defeated last year in the Bihar assembly elections.

Prime minister Modi was in Patna to inaugurate the newly constructed Digha-Sonepur rail-cum-road bridge in Hajipur and was also present at the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Patna High Court.
