At a press conference held by BJP, on Tuesday, BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma condemned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for using objectionable words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi by which he has insulted the country and its people.

Accusing Kejriwal of treading on the “wrong path” and doing acts which are not in his purview, BJP advised him to work within his limits and respect democracy to provide good governance and work for people’s welfare instead.

BJP also charged him with “mastering” the art of speaking lies and committing the “sin” of using “bad words” against the Prime Minister. The party also said he should be prepared to go to jail for making false allegations against Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the DDCA issue.

Arvind Kejriwal is conspiring to destroy country’s image in the world by using objectionable words against the Prime Minister, who has enhanced this image across the world. You are insulting the country and its people, especially those in Delhi who elected you with a huge majority. You are an elected Chief Minister.

He accused Kejriwal of trying to deflect media attention by lying and asked him to remain within the “limits of democracy”.

The BJP leader also added that people of Delhi are today upset and angry and are repenting for having elected him.

You don’t want to work, only create a ruckus because you want media attention. But don’t insult the people of Delhi and waste public funds. We request you to read the Constitution that was given to you by the President.

Shrikant Sharma, BJP National Secretary

The BJP attack came soon after Kejriwal stood by his words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom he called a ‘coward’.
