A final supplementary report regarding JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar’s ‘sedition’ videos, has been submitted by Truth Labs to the Delhi Government, India Today reports. The report exposed the fact that two out of the seven videos sent for forensic testing have been tampered with.
The 9 February protest was held opposing the ‘judicial killing’ of convict Afzal Guru. After this, Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khaled and Anirban Bhattacharya were arrested on charges of sedition.
A Zee News producer had also quit over the ‘biased’ JNU coverage done by the channel.
Kanhaiya Kumar was recently released from Tihar Jail on interim bail after the court found no evidence of Kumar shouting ‘anti-national’ slogans on JNU grounds that evening.
