Goverment Extends Last Date for Income Tax Return to 5 August

Usually the last date for filing income tax return is 31 July.

• Hasmukh Adhia, Revenue Secretary, announced that the last date for filing income tax returns has been extended to 5 August. Usually the last date is 31 July.
  
  
• For Income Tax assessees in Jammu and Kashmir, the due date has been extended to 31 August.
