German Bakery Blast Convict Attacks Murder Convict in Jail

• German bakery blast case convict Himayat Baig attacked Yug Chandak murder case convict Rajesh Daware in Nagpur Central Prison on Wednesday, ANI reported. Daware is receiving medical treatment in jail. An FIR has also been registered in connection with the case.
  
  
• A sessions court found Baig guilty of criminal conspiracy and murder in connection with blasts that killed 17 people on 13 February 2010 in Pune. He was sentenced to death on 18 April.
  
  
• The Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court on 5 May upheld the death sentence of Rajesh Daware in the Yug Chandak murder case.
