- The Supreme Court on Tuesday recorded the Chhattisgarh government’s statement that Delhi University professor Nandini Sundar and others named in a murder case will not be arrested.
- Significantly, the apex court also asked the state government to give advance notice of four weeks to Sundar and others if it wants to proceed in the case.
- Last week, Sundar, along with nine others, was booked for allegedly murdering a tribal villager in insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
