A fire broke out in a shop near Maya Hotel at a scrap market in Mankhurd, Mumbai, early on Sunday, 11 February. Twenty-four fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire, reported ANI.
No one has been injured in the fire that started at about 6 am. Twenty fire engines and three water tankers were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.
Even though the level 4 fire spread to nearby godowns, nobody was injured in the incident.
The blaze started at a scrap shop in the market near Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road in Kurla around 6 am and spread to other adjacent galas (shops).An official to PTI
An unnamed official told PTI that instructions have been given to concerned authorities to demolish unauthorised structures and snap the electricity supply to the area.
