A level one fire broke out in the Kamala Mills compound in Lower Parel, Mumbai on Friday morning. Two fire engines were sent to the location by the Fire Control Room, which successfully doused the fire. No loss of life has been reported.
According to preliminary reports, the fire broke out around 10 am in an establishment located near Tamasha Lounge in Victoria House inside Kamala Mills.
This is the second time a fire has broken out in the tightly packed commercial compound within a span of nine months. On the night of 29 December 2017, a major fire had broken out in 1 Above Pub and Mojo Bistro’s pub which resulted in the deaths of 14 people and left several injured.
