- Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday added the name of Ex-ISRO chief G Madhavan Nair in the chargesheet for the probe into Antrix-Devas scam.
- CBI had earlier questioned Nair in connection with the ongoing case that saw private multi-media company Devas recieving “wrongful” gain to the tune of Rs 578 by Antrix, the commercial arm of ISRO.
- The deal between Antrix-Devas was signed on 28 January 2005 during Nair’s tenure as chairman of ISRO and Secretary, Department of Space. He was also the Chairman of the Governing Council of Antrix when the deal was finalised.
