After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar was sent to custody on charges of corruption by the CBI, two other people were arrested in connection with the case on Saturday.
The CBI arrested RS Kaushik, MD of ICSIL (a public sector undertaking [PSU] which awarded contracts to the Kumar-backed private company) and GK Nanda, the then MD of ICSIL, for allegedly violating tender guidelines.
The case came to light after Rajendra Kumar was accused of favouring private companies in granting government contracts between 2006 and 2014.
After a raid was conducted in Agra, a money trail has also been recovered from a publication, said CBI sources.
