BSF Shoots Pakistani Intruder in Pathankot’s Balmiyal Sector

• An alleged intruder from Pakistan was shot down by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Pathankot’s Balmiyal sector in Punjab.
• The man’s body – that fell close to the border fence – would reportedly be recovered only in the daylight, so it’s not perceived as aggression by Pakistani forces.
• The Pathankot area was on high alert on Friday evening, and a massive search operation was carried out after a local resident claimed to have spotted four or five armed men roaming around suspiciously.
