The bodies of the three crew members of the missing Pawan Hans chopper have been found in the wreckage in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh – according to Director General of Police, S Nitithyanandam.
The search for the three bodies started Wednesday morning after the wreckage was found on August 10.
A specially trained mountaineering team from the high altitude school of Jammu and Kashmir were involved in the search operation.
The chopper manufactured by the chopper giant Pawan Hans went missing on August 4 while on its way to Assam from Arunachal Pradesh.
IAS officer Kamalesh Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh, was onboard along with two pilots.
