The BJP on Friday, 24 November, released its fifth list of 13 candidates for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections.
Elections to the 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be held in two phases on 9 and 14 December.
Here is the full fifth list:
The party on 21 November had released its fourth list – naming only one candidate Piyushbhai Desai as its nominee from Navsari. Twenty eight names featured in the party’s third list on 20 November.
Third List:
The BJP released its first list on 17 November and the second list on 18 November.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who was named in the BJP’s first list, filed his nomination papers for the Gujarat Assembly elections in presence of Union Minister Arun Jaitley in Rajkot. He will contest from Rajkot West.
Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel will contest from Mehsana, and state party president Jitubhai Vaghani from Bhavnagar West.
